My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Otto is a very challenging little dog. He is 9 years old, and 14 pounds, attaches well to people once he gets to know them, and is quasi house-trained (depending on his mood) and crate-trained. He has a history of biting from the time I adopted him 9 years ago. I was careful not to play tug with him, or encourage any aggressive behavior shown. I had him neutered at 5 months due to his showing so much aggression as a puppy. He has recently been showing more anxiety and aggression towards my other, younger dachshund, and has bitten both my niece and myself about two weeks ago.

Otto suffers from idiopathic seizures, and once had a back injury that caused him to lose function in his hind legs. I purchased an Embrace rechargeable back brace and he healed within a week. He is not up to date on veterinary care nor vaccines, and I am not in a position at the moment to be able to provide this. I'm seeking a caring individual with the time and resources to dedicate to his care and well-being.
