My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duncan is an all-black boy with some little white "snowflakes" on his back. He is long and sleek and is sweet and a little bit goofy! Duncan may be shy when he first meets you, but only for a moment and then he will show you he is one of the friendliest cats ever! Duncan likes to be held and carried and is a true lap-cat. He also has some of the cutest & funniest behaviors, you have to come meet him! We really love this group of kittens, Duncan and his siblings Lisette, Gus, and Arlo are just the best if you want a cat that will really give back the love you share with them. Duncan is ready to be adopted solo or with one of his litter-mates!

If you are interested in Duncan please apply through cattyshackrescue.org or email cattyshackrescue@gmail.com for more info. Yavapai County residents only. If you were born before 1959 please do not apply to adopt a kitten.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)(3) non profit group of unpaid volunteers who have come together to rescue cats from the street. Our group rescues cats already in trouble through abandonment. We saw a need in our community for cats on the street with no advocates to be helped through sheltering, spay/neuter and placement in homes of their own.
