My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jersey is not only good looking, he is a social, loving kitty that enjoys attention from staff, volunteers, and visitors. He likes to snuggle in their laps and cuddle close for petting.

Jersey is also great with the other kittens in his house. He enjoys being around them and often joins in when they play with toys and each other.

When Jersey is not playing or snuggling, he likes to rest out on the screened area where he can watch everything happening outside-- dogs being walked, birds strolling by, and tiny bugs that occasionally crawl across the screen.

Jersey’s gentle purrs and playful antics bring joy to everyone he meets. His affectionate nature makes him the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loving pet.

Why not complete an application today to make an appointment to meet Jersey? He is not only gorgeous, but lovable and friendly! What more could you ask for?

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
