We rescued Finn in late 2017, in Maryland, when he was around four months old. He's an extremely smart dog and has been very easily trainable since he joined our family. In addition to his intelligence, he might be one of the fastest dogs we've ever seen. We're sure in another life, with the right trainer, he could've been one of those agility dogs that you see in competitions on TV. He loves going for long walks, playing fetch in the backyard, and snuggling with his family on the couch.
With all this said, as our family has grown, we feel Finn hasn't been able to receive the adequate amount of attention that he truly deserves. With multiple children of our own now, it's not uncommon to be away from home for most of the day and for Finn to be stuck there by himself. He's always had separation anxiety since we've rescued him and these outings can be hard on him.
The ideal new home would be one in which the owner is home a lot and would be able to maximize the attention given to Finn.
