If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Fred is a sweet cat that came with the home we purchased. He was a great outdoor cat until an accident occurred causing him to lose a rear leg. He is considered special needs but doesn’t act as such. He has jumping limitations preventing him from reaching most counter tops at a standard height but can still jump a baby gate with a lot of effort if needed. He is a very gentle cat but with all his years outside he never learned to properly play but is figuring it out. He’s very dominant and has a hard time with other dominant male cats but has no issues otherwise male or female. Has lived with a dog and adjusted fine. He snuggles and purrs and will love you. Does good with older children but not with young babies/toddlers that don’t know boundaries.
