My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Never mind her spooky looks; Celeste is a sweet and gentle cat who has had a bit of an adventure! It's wonderful that she was rescued and brought to Catty Shack to find a loving home. Her background of being found outside and having given birth to kittens adds a bit of depth to her story, showing her resilience and the care she's received from a generous rescuer and Catty Shack. Given that she is loving and affectionate but also shy, Celeste needs to find a home that understands and is patient with her. A quiet, nurturing environment where she can feel safe and gradually come out of her shell would likely be ideal for her. If someone is looking for a cat who needs a bit of extra TLC and is willing to provide a calm and understanding atmosphere, Celeste could be a perfect match.
If you are interested in Celeste please apply through cattyshackrescue.org or email cattyshackrescue@gmail.com for more info. Yavapai County residents only. If you were born before 1959 please do not apply to adopt a kitten.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)(3) non profit group of unpaid volunteers who have come together to rescue cats from the street. Our group rescues cats already in trouble through abandonment. We saw a need in our community for cats on the street with no advocates to be helped through sheltering, spay/neuter and placement in homes of their own.
