Birdie | 2 years | ~20 lbs

Meet Birdie, a one-of-a-kind little lady with a big personality and an even bigger heart. At about 2 years old and 20 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-small size—and her DNA test says she’s a fun mix of German Shepherd, Chihuahua, Husky, and maybe a dash of Pit. Basically… adorable chaos done right.

Birdie is truly the most charming dog. She absolutely loves people and is fantastic with dogs of all sizes. She has a wonderful ability to entertain herself for hours, whether it’s playing, exploring, or just being her silly, happy self. And yes—she actually smiles, which melts hearts instantly.

She’s smart, social, and full of joy, making her an easy fit for a variety of homes. If you’re looking for a dog with personality, sweetness, and endless charm packed into a 20-pound body, Birdie is your girl.

See our website for details - all of our pets are spayed/netered, updated on their vaccinations and microchipped. We must have an application filled out and in most cases we require a home check. More about this rescue

Friends of Orange County's Homeless Pets (FOCHP) is a licensed 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The mission of our organization is to make homeless and unwanted pets in Orange
County more adoptable and provide them
the opportunity to find lifelong families. This mission will be accomplished with training, grooming services, veterinary services and rescue. This program is designed to promote the adoption of shelter animals, thus reducing the number of adoptable animals that are euthanized in the Orange County shelters.
