You can apply for Kaia at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab. â¤ï¸
Kaia is a beautiful black and white domestic short hair born approximately August 13, 2025. Kaia was found alone in Miami when she was about one and a half weeks old. We were getting a lot of rain and mama cat moved the kittens under a porch to keep everyone dry. The next day, mom started moving the babies but didn’t come back for Kaia. After waiting a couple of hours, the homeowner brought her into the house and began bottle feeding. Unfortunately, they were leaving town in a few days and began contacting rescues to take her. After securing a bottle feeder, the finder drove her to our rescue. But Kaia was still struggling. After a few days of struggling to get her to take the bottle on her own, she was brought to our vet. It turned out she had 2 abscess in her mouth and was started on antibiotics. Quickly after that, Kaia began eating well and is now a healthy kitten ready for adoption. Kaia is a sweet kitten that will attach to her human, and will follow them around, but might be a little shy when a stranger comes into the house. She will sleep in your bed and will make a great Netflix and chill buddy. She loves her spring toys and is fine with other cats.
Kaia is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated, including rabies. She is litter box trained.
Kaia is located at the Good Luck Cat Cafe (901 Progresso Drive, #202, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304). For more information contact laura@ladyluckanimalrescue.com or text 954-562-6857. You can apply at ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
