If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Pippa is an exceptional, healthy 3-year-old spayed female Husky with a wonderful temperament. She is being rehomed solely due to a change in my personal circumstances that no longer allow me to meet her physical/social needs.
She is friendly, playful, and very well socialized with dogs of all sizes and ages. She is gentle with babies and young children and affectionate with new people.
Pippa is house-trained, crate-trained, and obedience trained, responding reliably to sit, stay/wait, and go to place/crate. She loves fetch, running, long walks, yard play, playing with other dogs, and car rides. Indoors she is calm, non-destructive, enjoys puzzle and chew toys, and rarely barks.
She has a high prey drive and is continuing work on leash manners and recall.
Home requirements: a fully fenced yard (6 ft minimum) and a very physically active owner to meet her energy requirements. A home with another dog is required due to separation anxiety. Ideally cat-free.
