Behavioral issues

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dora is a senior cat who has had more and more behavioral issues as he’s aged. Unfortunately he has feline stomatitis and I have been unable to get him the surgery he needs, and he was only on antibiotics for a bit. He is very food driven and WILL go after any food left anywhere but has trouble maintaining weight - he does not have hyperthyroidism.

Unfortunately he has become too much for me to handle, I’ve loved him for 10 years but I am running out of patience and the funds to care for him appropriately and I know someone else can provide him a much better life for his remaining years. It breaks my heart to part from him but I think it’s for best.

He loves warm spots and cuddling up to legs or pillows in bed. He also can be a bit vocal sometimes when he smells food! He responds to his name but can be a bit of a troublemaker. He has experience around other cats, but as he’s gotten older he seems to not enjoy playful cats and gets grumpy.
