Izzy is a 5 year old female AKC Blue GSD. Izzy is a former breeder who just wants lovin’s. She is housebroken and is working on her commands. Izzy is very sweet, quiet, friendly, and just wants to be with her human. She gets along well with other dogs, but is not compatible with cats. If you’re looking for a wonderful companion & friend, Izzy is your girl!.
Izzy requires a fenced yard, a confident resident dog, someone who isn’t gone long hours, and has experience with German Shepherds.
*Izzy is in foster care. Meet and greets can be arranged for approved applicants.
*Approved applicants are welcome to participate in our popular Slumber Party program and take a dog home for up to 2 weeks to make sure he/she is a great fit.
If you think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an Adoption Application at www.caninerescue.org. *After you have completed your application, you will get a confirmation that we have received your application. It takes a lot of time to process the applications, so we ask for your patience while we do so. If you see that the dog you were interested in has been adopted it means there were many applications for that dog and we did not get as far processing your application before a home was found. We do adopt out of state, however we do not transport or ship dogs. Potential adopter must be able and willing to travel to the Rescue to meet the dog they are interested in.
