If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Hubble was a stray cat who appeared on my back patio. The vet believed he was about 6 months old at the time, so now he is around 9 months old. I was happy to take him in, get him healthy, and try to incorporate him into the house with my other cat. He was always super friendly and only ever wanted some attention. I took him to the vet and they said he was a pretty healthy cat for a stray. He had his shots done, tests for heartworms & FIV (both negative), and got on flea and tick prevention (he had fleas initially). A few weeks later he was microchipped and neutered. Around that time, we learned he was positive for the Giardia parasite. The medicine he was given seemed to work, at least the most recent fecal exam suggested so. Despite that, Hubble really is a sweet cat when it comes to people. He is over-eager and aggressive towards my resident cat, and that is why I am looking to rehome him. I hope his new home is able to give him the love and freedom he deserves, as I wish we could.
