This is Banjo, (Born 4/11/2019)) he is a very sweet and shy, 13 pound, boy. You may remember him as Esteban, his original name when he was here. Two years ago we adopted him to a lovely man, who gave him the name Banjo and was also very sweet and shy. They were perfectly suited to one another and loved each other’s company.
Unfortunately, the man had to move far away and much to his heartbreak, could not take Banjo with him. The Society, of course, welcomed our cat back.
We were very sensitive and mindful that Banjo might miss his person too. Our team watched over him and made sure that Banjo got extra love, premium treats and playtime. He remembered his caregivers here and settled in nicely.
If you are looking for a cat that is not looking for the spotlight, but rather a cozy, sunny spot where you can pet him under his chin and praise him, Banjo is accepting applications.

Won't you please sponsor this pet? Click the button above. You can give as much or as little as you like. Your donation is tax deductible. Thank you and our furry ones thank you. Each and every animal here is very special to us. We are dedicated to finding each one just the right home. So for some cats and dogs, that means a much longer stay - as sometimes they are not as outgoing, pretty or have as perfect manners as they could. And because we don't "dispose" of them for this, our cost for keeping them healthy and becoming better companions is high.
