My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Martha & Merl.

Two long-haired floofballs with main-character energy and zero interest in being background cats.

These kittens are stunning. Like, stop-scrolling, how-are-you-real stunning. But looks are just the appetizer. The main course is personality.

Martha and Merl are:

- Ridiculously people-oriented. If you sit, they're there. If you move, they're supervising.

- Playful and outgoing, not the hide-under-the-bed type. They believe strangers are just friends who haven't pet them yet.

- Professional eaters. Food is a love language. They take it very seriously.

- Certified sleep buddies. They will crawl into bed like they pay rent.

They are bonded, and we mean actually bonded. Not “they tolerate each other” bonded. These two operate as a unit. Wrestling. Grooming. Napping. Plotting mild chaos. Separating them would be a crime against joy.

We're looking for a home that gets it. A home that wants two kittens, not because it sounds nice, but because it makes life better. Two cats means built-in entertainment, fewer lonely hours, and twice the affection without twice the work. That's just math.

If you want soft fur, loud purrs, full food bowls, and a bed that is no longer entirely yours, Martha and Merl are ready to move in and take over.

Adopt them together. They're a matching set.

If you're interested in Martha and Merl, please email us at info@sheltertohome.com.

**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**January 25, 2026, 10:32 pm
