Keenai was given to me after their previous owner could no longer take care for him. He lived with one adult, 5 kids, and three other dogs. They could no longer keep any of the dogs and that’s when I volunteered to try and take care of Keenai. I’ve had Keenai for less than a year.
My work schedule is busy. I work 12 hour shifts, 4 days a week. I had someone helping watch him, but they couldn’t help anymore. I’ve been leaving him alone at home, but unfortunately doesn’t do well when I leave initially.
I’ve realized I don’t have enough time to take care of Keenai. I don’t have a family for him to love and play with. And he only gets good exercise on my days off. When he’s home alone, he is bored even with all his toys. Sad he has no one to play with.
He’s a good dog. Has a lot of energy and loves walks. Likes his kennel. Likes to be outside but also likes being inside.
