Champagne hasn’t had the easiest start. When she came to us from a neglectful situation in August 2025, she was matted, underweight, and so weak we weren't sure she’d make it. At just 4.1 lbs, she was truly skin and bones. But after months of B12 injections, multiple vet visits, and a lot of TLC in her foster home, this 5.3 lb girl has done a total 180.
Her Road to Recovery
At her lowest point, Champagne weighed a heartbreaking 4.1 pounds—she was quite literally skin and bones beneath a mess of ungroomed fur. Her recovery was a long, uphill battle involving round-the-clock care with our vet partners to stabilize her, frequent blood tests and multiple rounds of B12 injections to combat extreme lethargy and weakness, and she struggled to maintain her weight.
While she’s still a petite girl at 5.3 pounds, she has done a complete 180. The weak, lethargic cat we first met has been replaced by a playful, energetic, and very opinionated lady.
Personality & Home Life
Champagne is what we call a "proximity" cat. She wants to be in the room with you, and she’ll happily join you on the couch (especially if you have a soft blanket), but she isn't a traditional "cuddle bug." She has very clear boundaries:
The Ideal Match
Champagne currently lives with an adult and two kitty foster brothers (ages 3 and 6). She needs a home with at least one other feline friend. She loves to play tag—chasing her brothers and being chased back is the highlight of her day.
Because of her specific needs, we are looking for a very specific home:
A Note on Applications
We have invested months of love and medical care into saving Champagne’s life, and we are fiercely protective of her future. Please be aware that applications will be heavily scrutinized. We aren't looking for just "any" home; we are looking for the best home—one that respects her boundaries and celebrates her resilient, spicy spirit.
