My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Payton is a ~1.5-year-old, 40 lb neutered male with the gentlest, most loving personality. fully potty trained, well-mannered, not a barker, does well when brought to work and incredibly easy to live with. A true Velcro dog and proud couch potato, Payton loves cuddling and staying close to his people.
He adores other dogs, does great with kids, seniors, and all animals, and is completely non-reactive (even to squirrels!). calm, affectionate, and well-behaved when left alone. Payton is also great in the car and would thrive in a house, apartment, or condo.
Payton previously lived with two elderly women in their mid-to-late 70s and was deeply loved. Earlier in life, he was rescued from a Texas shelter just one day before euthanasia. Through no fault of his own, he needed a new home when his owner became ill and has been thriving in foster care.
