Oliver – 7-Year-Old Sweet, Quirky Companion Looking for a Patient Home
Oliver is a 7-year-old dog (turning 8 this May) who has been with me since he was a puppy. I bottle-fed him and raised him after his litter was rejected, and we’ve been very close ever since. He’s truly one of a kind and has a big personality.
He’s an adorable oddball—he’ll growl while wagging his tail and licking you, even during belly rubs, but it’s always playful and never aggressive. He can be shy around strangers at first, but with patience and consistency, he becomes very attached and turns into a big cuddle bug.
Oliver loves being outside and going for walks, though he’s never been a big fan of the leash. He’s great with kids (once adjusted) and has done well with my 7-year-old and 1-year-old. He’s also been around other dogs, cats, and even reptiles, and has never shown aggression toward other animals.
The reason I am rehoming Oliver is due to his separation anxiety and ongoing potty-training challenges.
