Nicholas AKA (Nikko) I rescued from a person who could not handle this dog. The previous owner had adopted Nikko from a shelter and tried to take care of him but could not manage to control the anxiety, and couldn't form the bond with him.
Nikko is roughly 3-3.5 years old and is a great dog. He is extremely intelligent, full of energy, and has a fun personality.
I am looking for an owner who loves the outdoors, has some property for Nikko to explore on, also wants to have him in the house. I need an owner who does not have a busy schedule but wants a companion. He loves to hike, backpack, camp, come fishing, run, play at the dog park, chase the ball, and he has a hunting instinct about him.
He really is a great animal. I have two kids, and their lives are changing and my schedule is becoming so full that I am not able to be there with Nikko the way he deserves.
Due to the separations and upbringing in his life, he has some anxious attachment challenges. We can discuss.
