Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lando is a sweet, playful boy looking for a loving home where he can continue building confidence and feeling safe.
-I’m almost fully potty-trained and doing great with consistency
-I LOVE toys and proudly carry my favorite to bed every night 🧸
-Quickly learning how to walk on a leash and improving every day
-Does well with cats — I mostly ignore them and mind my own business
-Much more confident indoors and in quiet outdoor spaces
-I'm a quick learner! My foster has already taught me sit, down, middle, spin, and stay!
Important notes for my future home:
-I would do best as the only dog. I’m uncomfortable around other dogs, especially larger ones, and prefer not to interact with them
-On walks, unfamiliar sights and sounds (plastic bags, carts, vents, loud noises) can be scary for me. My foster is helping me through this with calm handling and positive reinforcement, and I’m making progress
-When outdoors in quiet, low-traffic areas, my true personality shines and I’m confident and happy
-I really love my toys and can be reluctant to give them up. My foster is working on positive reinforcement around this, and I’ll benefit from continued gentle training and structure in my new home
-Lando is a sensitive, affectionate pup who just needs the right environment — one that’s calm, patient, and understanding — to truly thrive. With the right person, he’s going to be an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
📞 Contact my foster at (520) 965-8441 to set up a meet-and-greet or ask additional questions!
Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for free!). Each adoption also includes a free health exam. Please bring a leash and collar with you or plan to purchase them here. We can’t wait to help you meet your new furry friend! 🐾
