My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi… my name is Lily!
I’m a little black-and-white girl with a gentle heart and a soft soul.

I might be a bit shy when we first meet. I like to take my time and make sure the world feels safe. I came to the sanctuary as a feral/ under-socialized and it took lots of patience, love, and food (especially food!) before I learned that humans can be kind. Because of that, my future family will need to understand that I’ll probably hide at first while I settle in. But oh… once I warm up? That’s when the magic happens.

When you pet me, I get major elevator butt, straight up! I soak up every single second of affection and turn into a total love bug. My personality is sweet in that quiet, melt-your-heart way, and once you know me, you’re pretty much destined to love me forever.

I adore:
• Catnip toys
• Basking in warm sunbeams
• Cozy beds and comfy naps
• Other cats (I’d love a feline friend in my new home!)
• Lickable treats… you can often find me enjoying one during visiting hours

I also recently had a dental, so my teeth are all fresh, clean, and feeling great!

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate girl who just needs a little patience to show you her whole heart, I might be your Lily. You can come visit me any day between 1–5pm. I’ll probably be nearby… possibly enjoying a treat and dreaming of my forever home.

I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.

I am fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, treated for fleas/ticks/and intestinal parasites, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our goal is to be a sanctuary for cats who are not adoptable and to find loving homes for those who are. We welcome you to visit our sanctuary to snuggle with our furballs. You may even end up going home with one...or two!!!

You always need to remember our cats come with baggage. Lots of them were treated badly by people and it has taken time for them to trust us. They may need to come out of their shells once you adopt them. You need to give them time to see you are not going to hurt them. We love our Furballs and want good homes for all of them. Please remember it is all about the cats for us.

We only adopt out our Furballs to people within 2-3 hours of our sanctuary because of the baggage they come with. This does not include some of the cats in foster care (contact their foster parents for more information).
