If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Finn is a fine four year old. He is pretty mellow at home and has lots of energy for four mile walks and hikes. He's even done six miles on cool days. He is the easiest traveler. We've done many long car rides when he sleeps until rest stops then does his business when we do. :-)
We rehomed him at 2 from an overwhelmed family with another older dog and a new baby. He warmed to us right away.
We are seniors, 78 and 84, and recently moved from our single family home to an independent living facility which has elevators and a hundred plus residents. Finn has not made the transition well. Unfortunately he's often anxious and fearful of people coming from different directions with devices like walkers and wheelchairs. We have boarded him and been told he's a neutral dog, is fine being with a group of dogs, not too playful.
He has the sweetest eyes and is a total cuddler.
We are heartbroken about needing to rehome him but it's best for him in many ways.
Could his forever home be yours?
