My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Griswald!

Gris for short, came from a big group of cats. He loves other cats! He is currently in a foster home getting socialized more with people and he is improving amazingly!

Here's a progress update for his foster mom:

- he loves treats and is very food motivated
- he's becoming very playful! he loves to play with the wand toy, some days he could chase after it for hours. he's very energetic and he'll leap all over the place!
- loves to be up on the perch looking outside and watching birds (he especially loves to sniff close up to the screen when the window is open. i think in the future he would love to have a catio or harness/outside time)
- he likes to sleep all day and party all night! i often hear him when i'm falling asleep and his room is always a bit chaotic in the morning 😂

these days he still hisses if I come in and he's not hiding, but after a few minutes he lets his guard down and will come up to me, play with the wand toy or chase after treats. he's becoming less fearful but still avoids any physical contact (i don't go to him, i just let him come to me). he has sniffed/put his nose on my hand several times now which is very promising! "

Gris would love a home with another cat! Gris is neutered and is ready for his furever family!

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.
