Kodiak is a Boxer-Pitt mix, weighing in at 80 lbs and full of love. At 4 years old, he’s the perfect balance of playful and gentle.
Three years ago, Kodiak was rescued from a shelter in heartbreaking condition, weighing only 47 lbs with every rib and his backbone visible. With care and love, and plenty of peanut butter, he’s transformed into the happy, healthy pup he is today.
Kodiak’s favorite things:
Peanut butter treats
Ear rubs (his absolute favorite!)
Running and playing at doggie daycare
He’s a social butterfly—great with other dogs, cats, and children—and has never shown aggression. In fact, Kodiak has never even barked! He thinks he is a lap dog and loves to snuggle.
Kodiak is loving, loyal, and playful, and he deserves a family who can give him the attention he craves. Due to frequent travel, his current owner hates having to board him so often and wants to find him a home where he’ll be surrounded by love every day.
