Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Messi, a strikingly handsome lad who is every bit as strong as he is intelligent.
Despite his athletic build, this beautiful boy is a world-class snuggler who lives for the moments he can be close to his favorite humans. While his name might suggest otherwise, Messi is actually a very clean and well-put-together companion who is fully house-trained and well-behaved indoors. He is a versatile partner who is just as happy relaxing during a "do-nothing" day as he is heading out for an adventure; as long as he is by your side, he is content.
In the home, Messi is a polite resident who is already crate trained and working hard on perfecting his manners. While the crate isn't his favorite place to be, he settles in nicely when offered a yummy treat or a fun toy to keep him occupied. Prospective adopters should note one endearing quirk: Messi is currently a bit suspicious of stairs. He is looking for a patient family willing to help build his confidence as he learns to navigate them. Because of his easy-going nature regarding his environment, he could thrive in either an apartment or a house, provided he gets the regular exercise a strong boy like him needs.
When it comes to social circles, Messi prefers a more sophisticated atmosphere. He doesn't enjoy the chaos that often comes with small children and would do best in a home with dog-savvy older kids who respect his boundaries. He may enjoy the company of another dog of a similar size, though a proper introduction is a must to ensure a good match. It is important to note that Messi has a high prey drive and has not been tested with cats, so a feline-free home is required to keep everyone safe and happy.
Messi’s journey hasn't always been easy, but he refuses to let the past define him. He is a resilient, loyal, and incredibly loving soul who is ready to turn the page and start a new chapter. If you are looking for a smart, stunning, and devoted companion to share your life with, Messi is ready to make beautiful memories with you.

We use a team to cover different steps in the process so that we have input from several individuals to confirm dog/puppy is a fit in the new family and we have the correct forever home.
