My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! I’m Jemma, a 2yo female Brittany mix. My foster dad thinks I’m part Brittany & part Lab & that I have the perfect combo of each breed. I love everyone I meet - humans, dogs, & cats. I would probably do best with older children because I can get excited. I ride great in the car, and am house & crate trained, where I sleep all night. I walk nicely on a leash, 60-90 minutes every day, and am really getting good at recall. Since that is still a work in progress, a fenced backyard would be best, so I can run, play & hunt! I know basic manners & learn more each day. I’m a smart girl & love to learn. I am not aggressive towards food or toys. I would do great as an only dog or in a home with other dogs, as long as they don’t mind my exuberance. I have some separation anxiety, but that is improving, so a home where my family is home often would be best. I love my humans! Jemma is spayed, UTD on all vaccinations & preventatives. Jemma’s adoption fee is $325, is currently living in NC & can be transported up to 1400 miles. If  you would like to learn more about Jemma, please submit an application to adopt at NBRAN.org or email Karen Carr at kecarr72@icloud.com.

More about this rescue

Our Mission:
National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network (NBRAN) is an alliance of dedicated Brittany rescue volunteers who share a deep love for the breed and will work to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home Brittanys in need, whether lost, stray or surrendered to rescue for placement. As volunteers united in a common cause, we are committed to the care of these dogs in foster homes, providing for their physical and emotional needs...... and also work to place these dogs in safe, loving and permanent homes with approved applicants.
