My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rocket 🚀

Adoption Fee: $70

Rocket is a 3-year-old male beagle and the smallest of the 29 beagles we picked up. He’s a fun-sized little guy with a big personality and would absolutely rock dog clothes. Rocket loves being held and carried and has a goofy, affectionate nature. He does well with other dogs and enjoys being part of the pack.

Rocket does have a grade 4 heart murmur. This simply means his heart makes an extra sound that can be heard during a vet exam. Many dogs with heart murmurs live happy, comfortable lives, and some never need medication at all. His heart will just need routine monitoring by a veterinarian so any changes can be addressed early if needed.

Rocket is a sweet, loving boy who doesn’t let his murmur slow him down and is looking for a home that will love him just as he is 💛🐾

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We like to meet prospective adopters and be with them when they meet a potential new pet.

2.

Meet the Pet

Meet and greets are strongly encouraged if there are other dog(s) and/or cat(s) or children in the home

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Renter's are required to provide letter from landlord approving a pet or additional pet

4.

Pay Fee

Our fees are low and do not cover much of the expenses we put into the animal prior to its becoming available for adoption.

5.

Take the Pet Home

We ask new owners to not return an animal before 9 days so its entry time can restart.

6.

Take the Pet Home

We remind the new family that it may take up to 3 months for a dog to decompress, learn the the family's routine, and feel at home.

Additional adoption info

We have the right and responsibility to the animal and the prospective new owner to refuse an adoption.
