My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Missy 💕🐾

Adoption fee: $70

Missy is a sweet girl who is very shy and scared of people, but her heart is full of love waiting to be discovered. She prefers dog friends over human friends and feels most comfortable when she has canine companions around her.

Missy needs a patient, understanding family who knows that trust takes time—and that the best relationships are worth the wait. When she sees other dogs, she turns into a total wiggle monster and opens up so much, showing her happy and playful side.

And let’s be honest—Missy is also a little potato 🥔… chunky, very round, and extremely huggable. If you have a calm home, a gentle heart, and maybe a confident dog to help show her the way, Missy could truly blossom. 💖🐶

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We like to meet prospective adopters and be with them when they meet a potential new pet.

2.

Meet the Pet

Meet and greets are strongly encouraged if there are other dog(s) and/or cat(s) or children in the home

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Renter's are required to provide letter from landlord approving a pet or additional pet

4.

Pay Fee

Our fees are low and do not cover much of the expenses we put into the animal prior to its becoming available for adoption.

5.

Take the Pet Home

We ask new owners to not return an animal before 9 days so its entry time can restart.

6.

Take the Pet Home

We remind the new family that it may take up to 3 months for a dog to decompress, learn the the family's routine, and feel at home.

Additional adoption info

We have the right and responsibility to the animal and the prospective new owner to refuse an adoption.

Go meet their pets
