Hope is an adorable terrier mix born in July of 2025 and weighing about 33–35 pounds, and she’s every bit as wonderful as her name suggests. This sweet girl is truly the kind of pup who’s going to make a family very, very happy.
Hope has a happy, playful personality and loves to engage—whether that’s romping around with her toys or enjoying a good play session. She’s energetic in the best way, but she also knows how to settle and enjoys her downtime just as much as her fun. When it’s time to relax, you’ll often find her curled up on the couch snuggling with her humans or taking a well-earned nap.
She’s done well with other dogs in a previous foster home and is currently living as a solo pup, so she’d be perfectly content as an only dog or with a canine sibling. Hope walks nicely on a leash, goes potty outside, and is continuing to build great habits. She’s learning crate training and doing well with ongoing potty training practice.
Hope is a smart girl, too! She already knows sit, lay down, and even politely scoots out of the way when asked. She’s eager to learn, affectionate, and loves being close to her people.

The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
