Cliff is a puppy born around 11/19 who is ready to find his forever home! His breed is a bit of a mystery, but he does have short legs like a Dachshund. He has a beautifully soft red coat and an adorable, impossible to resist face. His mom weighs only 13 lbs, and based on his current growth, Cliff will likely stay on the smaller-medium side as an adult.
Cliff’s personality is just as sweet as his looks! He has the classic puppy zoomies, followed by curling up right on your chest to soak up attention and deliver big puppy eyes before falling asleep. He is affectionate and clearly a “likes to be with his people” kind of pup, making him a wonderful choice for someone looking for a loyal, people-oriented companion.
He is food-motivated and smart, and has already started working on his “sit” command. Cliff is doing great with puppy pads and sleeps through the night in a puppy pen with his siblings. Because he has been with his siblings, his reaction to crate training is still unknown, but he does understand the concept of down time.
Cliff would thrive in a home where he can be included in daily life and given plenty of affection, and positive reinforcement as he continues to grow and learn

The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
