My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: 06/01/25

Betty Lou came into GRASP care with her sister Barbara Ann. It has taken some time for them to feel comfortable with their foster parents, but Betty is now ready to find her purr-fect forever home!

Betty Lou is quite shy until you bring out a wand toy. She will happily chase, jump, and grab at the toy showing off her spunky side. She likes to hide in the kitty condo, but is starting to warm up and accept gentle pets. Betty Lou has the most beautiful split orange and black face.

Betty Lou and Barbara Ann would love to be adopted together, but it is not required.

Betty will need a patient and loving adopter who can give her time to open up on her own terms.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
