We rescued a male orange flame point smoke about 1-year-old. Shots, neutered, no fleas, worms/ear mites; FIV negative.
ATTENTION RESCUE AGENCIES: help! we cannot keep him much longer & will have to to take him to the shelter; we do not want to :(; he has so much potential.
He is talkative & interactive, likes to play & look out of the window. He will only let us pet him when he is eating wet food. We try to feed him on the recliner or our lap so he can get more used to the attention.
He has been around the house interacting for 5 weeks. Prior to that we had him in a bathroom for a week. He rubs on us, clearly wanting interaction and attention. Laura is able to be closer to him, and touch him more. He spend time close to us & comes out when we get home.
He is aggressive with our male cat who does not hiss or fight back; our male growls and runs. We think he wants to play....Our two 17 yr females hiss at him, he rubs on them & leaves them alone. (2/15/26)
