Maya is a 3-year-old female purebred Alaskan Malamute. Her owner passed away and she now needs her forever loving home. She is for adoption through Castoff Pet Rescue and is needing a new home ASAP.
Maya absolutely loves people. She is energetic and loves adventure, but she also loves to chill and cuddle. She is iffy around other pets, mainly dogs. She tends to want to play with cats, which can scare them. As long as she is walked or let out frequently, she is housebroken.
Maya is also VERY resilient. When her owner passed, she was left outside without food (and possibly without water) for multiple days. Sadly, her German Shepherd sister did not survive, but Maya was picked up from the shelter and remained as happy as can be. She is always joyful, and all she cares about is loving her person.
