*COME MEET TURTLE & BARNACLE AT OUR ADOPTION EVENT ON FEB 21 FROM 12-2pm AT PET SUPPLIES PLUS IN ROSEVILLE*

Meet bonded brothers Turtle & Barnacle - two sweet little boys looking for their forever home together. Turtle & Barnacle came into rescue a little on the shyer side but have blossomed into two brave and curious boys. Where one goes the other follows, whether that be zooming across the floor or climbing the kitchen chairs, these two provide endless entertainment.

Turtle (pink nose) is the smaller brother but he’s often the leader of the duo. He’s also the vocal of the two and will often greet his foster mom with his mighty squeak. Turtle enjoys pets on his head and on his back and often purrs under the attention of his people. Turtle loves to chase toys when they’re thrown, especially ones that make noise. Turtle also loves playing in any shoes left on the floor and finding things he probably shouldn’t be climbing on.

Barnacle (black nose), the larger of the two, is often the quiet observer of the brothers - preferring to watch from a distance before joining in. Barnacle is also the lover of the two, he loves to be pet and will perch himself in your lap once he gets to know you. Barnacle loves chasing after his brother and likes toys that make noise. Barnacle also loves to roll around on rugs, collecting all the different smells he can.

Turtle & Barnacle have spent time around older cats and a dog and would do fine in a home with both. These cuties are currently fostered in Minneapolis.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is simple. The very first step is to fill out our adoption interest form through our website.

We'll look over your application and determine if the animal you are interested in is a good match for your family. If it looks like a good match, we will contact you to set up a time for you to meet the animal. If you decide after meeting him/her that you want to move forward with adoption, we will set up a home visit and finalize the adoption! Please note that filling out an interest form does not guarantee adoption of an animal, and we don't adopt out animals on a first come first serve basis. We endeavor to find the best match for all animals and families.

Adoption fees cover age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter (if old enough), and costs involved in caring for the animals up to the point of adoption. Adoption fees also help fund veterinary costs of animals who come to rescue that need extra care.
