Elote is a social kitty with lots of personality. She is expressive with rolls, stretches and leg rugs. A laser pen on the wall will get her to chatter and chase for a bit. A feather wand or wiggle worm wand, will get her paws a moving. What she loves the most is sweet talk, companionship and a warm lap! Elote will need a cat savvy adopter who will take things slow, offer her stability and consistency, and love. Her ideal home should be quiet, predictable with no other cats, or small children. Elote and her love will make the best companion. Come hang out with her in the volunteer office. (tw 2/26)

Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is a private, nonprofit organization that relies on individual donations, grants, and our own fundraising to operate. We receive no federal, state, or government funding.

Adoption fees help offset some of the costs associated with providing for the cats and kittens in our care—this includes housing, medical care, enrichment, behavior modification, and more.

CAT uses variable adoption pricing. The adoption fee for each cat is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, health, and demand.

Adoption fees range from $15 to $200 for cats (1 year old and above) and $100 to $200 for kittens (2-11 months old). Thanks to the Aleece Runge Fund for Senior Cats, the adoption fee for all cats 8 years and older is waived. The adoption fee for each cat is included in their pet bio.

Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is the Pacific Northwest’s largest non-profit, limited-admission cat shelter with its own full-service on-site veterinary hospital. CAT works with our community to find loving placement for homeless cats and kittens in need. The cats available for adoption from CAT come to us through public surrender and through partnerships with other shelters, rescue groups, and veterinary offices. CAT works to take in cats that might otherwise be euthanized. With the support of our CAT community, we help about 3,000 cats find new homes each year, plus offer low-cost spay/neuter and other services to support cats and their families.
