To my math knowledge, Jane was born in 2015 so that makes her about 10 years old. She was either a kitten of a feral cat or a feral cat herself. My parents had a lot of strays that they took care of on their land and they would take in the kittens and adopt them out if able. It took quite a while for Jane to a climate ties to me. My she is one of my mother‘s cats, and my mother has Alzheimer’s and my landlord will not allow me to accept more cats. Jane now allows me to touch her and pet her, but she is quite shy. She has sat in a lap usually my mothers but not mine or anybody else that I’m aware of she will allow you to pet her once you get to know her. They
