Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Big Red absolutely lives up to his name!
This big, goofy guy came to us as a stray and has been nothing but friendly with our staff. He’s curious about other dogs and enjoys watching them, though he can be a bit more reactive around male dogs. We’re hopeful that once he’s neutered, he’ll be more relaxed and polite with his canine friends.
At this time, we don’t know how Red does with cats, small animals, or children. What we do know is that he is very strong on leash and loves a good game of keep-away in the yard. Because of his strength and energy, we’re recommending a home with a fenced yard or someone who’s strong, active, and committed to giving him the exercise he needs through walks or runs. Red would thrive in an active home where both his brain and body stay busy. He does a pretty good job keeping his kennel clean, which makes us think he’s likely housebroken.
He’s very treat motivated, eager to learn, and overall just a sweet, lovable guy looking for the right home to help him shine.
**Scheduled to be neutered, scheduled to be microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs about 65 lbs**
