My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Currently fostered in Texas
Sport is apx 2 years and 6.6 pounds.
A tiny guy with a big personality. With people he is a weeee baby boy, so tiny, so helpless, so needy.
With other dogs he his a bog boy, he can play and rough house and bark and he shows he is a tough guy!
He even barks at the handy man and then runs and hides from the handy man 😂
Sport is a chihuahua in most ways. He is very funny and pretends to have some machismo but secretly has zero.
He plays great with other dogs and cats and is good with well mannered small dog savvy children, but caution to be used as he is so little.
Sport is adorable , sweet, loving and all things chi.
He is never aggressive, he is sometimes yappy, he is often shaky and cold he is always the baby.
Sport was rescued after a feral cat group set up traps to get a feral cat community spayed and neutered , and they caught Sport 🙂
Thankfully !!
He went to the local shelter and they reached out to us. Sport is such a cutie and a lucky boy to have been trapped before this terrible weather.
He will need some potty 101 training and will need a belly band in the house for a bit.

Submit Application

Please go to our webpage www.texaschihuahuarescuecanada.org and submit an online application.

2.
Approve Application

We will approve your application by calling your vet and your personal reference. Once you have been approved, it's time choose your pet!

3.
Pay Fee

Payment can be done by e-transfer to txcrcanada@gmail.com

4.
Take the Pet Home

Once your payment is confirmed, we will confirm your Transport Date with you, the day your new family member will arrive in Canada.

Additional adoption info

All existing pets must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. Please complete an application at www.texaschihuahuarecuecanada.com Vet check, personal reference and home visit required.
