My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption as a pair only with A2000387951-Charlie

Charlie and Chaplin are two very close young cats, rescued together from the streets of Dubai. Chaplin was found injured and unable to walk, and Charlie stayed by his side, caring for him. Since then, they have become an inseparable pair and must be adopted together, as their bond is essential to their well-being.

Charlie, a female, is lively, curious, and affectionate. She loves to play, explore, and interact with people. She brings a lot of energy and presence to her home.

Chaplin, a male with a distinctive little mustache, is more reserved at first. Once he feels comfortable, he becomes very gentle and enjoys quiet moments and close contact with his humans.

Charlie and Chaplin are neutered, vaccinated, and in good health. They enjoy human company and need a living space with enough room to move and explore. A house or a large apartment would be ideal. Their compatibility with other cats is unknown.

They are looking for a family ready to welcome them together and provide a stable, caring, and secure home.

More about this shelter

Founded in Montreal in 1869, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (now known simply as the Montreal SPCA) was the first animal-welfare organization in Canada. It is not known under whose influence the society was formed, but its history acknowledges assistance from animal-welfare societies in France, England and the United States. In its early years, the SPCA concentrated primarily on improving the treatment of work horses, which were used all across the island of Montreal. The SPCA later began working on additional issues, such as humane dog control, cock-fighting and the killing of wild birds. The SPCA has come a long way since its beginnings: today, it is the largest animal-protection organization in Quebec, speaking on behalf of animals wherever there is ignorance, cruelty, exploitation or neglect.
