Bella the Beagle came to Pinellas County Animal Services as an owner surrender due to her family experiencing major life changes. Suddenly finding herself in a shelter was overwhelming, and Bella was understandably scared and confused.
Now safe in a loving foster home, Bella is beginning to decompress and show her sweet, gentle nature. She’s a bit shy at first, but she truly enjoys human companionship—especially sitting or curling up beside her person.
Bella is looking for a patient, calm, and quiet home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. She currently coexists peacefully with the dogs in her foster home, though she hasn’t started playing yet and can be a little nervous around them.
With time, understanding, and love, Bella will make a loyal and devoted companion in her forever home.

Once we have had a chance to review your pet needs, one of our volunteer adoption counselors will be in touch for a phone conversation.

Once the phone interview is complete, we hope that a match has been made with a potential adopter and a pet from our rescue.
Sign Adoption Contract
If the pet is determined to be a good fit, the adoption agreement is signed and the adoption fee is collected.
