Meet Nova, a beautiful 2½-year-old Siamese chocolate/tortie point with a tender heart and a soul that bonds deeply. 💜 Nova was dearly loved, but her world changed when her mom had to make the heartbreaking decision to give her up due to macular degeneration, no longer able to safely care for her. Nova didn’t lose love — she lost her home.
Nova is the kind of girl who forms strong attachments. She currently shares a special bond with Sasha, and with patience and kindness, she’s ready to build that same trust again. New environments can be a little overwhelming for her, so she needs time to feel safe and settled. Because of this, she would do best in a calm home with older children who can understand her gentle warning growl when she’s feeling unsure.
Once Nova feels comfortable, her true sweetness shines. She enjoys affection, can be picked up, and will even reach up to ask to be held when she feels secure and loved. 🐾
