Gracie's story is a rather sad one. Gracie came to Five Acres with her brother, Buddy, after their dad passed away. Before they were able to be transported to the shelter, Buddy and Gracie were stuck in their old home alone while family members would stop by to feed. Because of this, Buddy and Gracie have developed a shy nature. Even though they are shy, they are slowly starting to come around to our staff an volunteers.
Gracie is the more reserved of the two. While she doesn't seem to want to show much affection quite yet, she will not say no to wet food! Given their behavior away from each other, we are considering Buddy and Gracie a boned pair.
