She came in as a stray on 1/20/26 and we think she’s about 8 years old.
Lexi is a sweet, sensitive girl who is very scared to be in the shelter—but she’s trying her best to be brave because she really wants to be loved. 💕 It doesn’t take long for her true personality to shine. After just a few minutes in the playroom, she’s right in your lap, soaking up cuddles and giving out sweet face kisses.
She knows how to sit, loves toys, and plays fetch like a pro. And if you really want to win her heart? Belly rubs. She absolutely loves, loves belly rubs!
Lexi is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy home, a warm lap, and someone to love her forever. She is available for adoption, so hurry in to meet this affectionate sweetheart!

All adoptions are $199.00. Adoptions include the following: Vaccines, microchip, Current dog license, spay/neuter, de-worming medication.

Our office is open Monday- Friday 8:30-4:30 and Saturdays from 10:00-2:00. Our kennels are closed on Mondays. The kennels are open Tuesday- Friday 11:00-4:15, Saturdays we open 10:00-1:45.

Did you know... The Richland County Dog Warden's Office & Adoption Center is self-funded and does not receive any tax paying dollars. Our revenue comes from dog license fees, adoptions, impound fees, and YOUR donations. You can send Donations by check or money order to the shelter: 810 N. Home Rd. Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
The shelter always accepts cash donations. However, there are always other things we need too. You can call it a wish list: Bleach, laundry detergent, Capstar flea tablets, Advantage flea drops, pet shampoo,Paper Towels, and sturdy collars and leashes for our dogs here at the facility and those going on transport to rescue.
