If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I adopted Ela from the Norfolk SPCA in May of 2024. She is 4 years old (born October 19, 2022). Ela is very loyal, intelligent, and forms strong bonds with her person. Once she trusts you, she is affectionate, cuddly, and highly food-motivated—she enjoys training and does well with structure. She is also fully house-trained and has never had accidents indoors.
Ela needs a very specific home to be successful. She is highly reactive and cannot live with cats, other pets, or children. She does best in a quiet household with few people, clear boundaries, and an experienced owner who understands management and consistency. A fenced yard and calm environment are ideal.
I am looking for a patient, experienced home where Ela can feel secure and understood long-term.
Adjectives I would use to describe Ela are: loyal, intelligent, affectionate, protective, sensitive, and food-motivated.
