Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gilo 🐾
Gilo is a young male tabby kitten with a big personality and an even bigger love for food—especially wet food! This little guy is very food-motivated and will happily let you know when it’s mealtime. His favorite way to play is chasing wand toys, and he can get quite animated (sometimes sounding a bit like a tiny raccoon 😄).
Gilo has been free-roaming with his two brothers, a resident cat, and two dogs. He gets along great with other cats and absolutely adores cuddling his brothers and foster kitty friends. Dogs aren’t really his thing, so he may need a little time and patience to warm up around them.
He would do best in a home with another cat buddy to keep him company and help him feel confident. Bonus: Gilo has already learned good house manners and knows to leave houseplants alone.
If you’re looking for a cuddly, quirky kitten who thrives with feline friends, Gilo might be your perfect match.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, FIV/FeLV combo test, dewormer, flea treatment, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip. Lifeline Cat Rescue is a private 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on donations and volunteers. You may donate at https://checkout.shelterluv.com/donate/LCRN or by clicking on the green button on the top right.

All of our cats are cared for in devoted foster homes.
When adoptable, most go to PetSmart on Feedwire Rd in Centerville or to PetSmart on Miamisburg-Centerville Rd by the Dayton Mall. Their bio will indicate where they're located, and if they're in a PetSmart, you can go to meet them.
If they're in a foster home, we are happy to arrange a meeting with an approved application.

More about this rescue
We are a no kill, foster-based rescue in Dayton, OH, that specializes in taking the most at risk cats and kittens from our local community. Many of our cats come in as strays and we provide them with all necessary vetting to get them adoption ready. Until then, they live with us in our homes where they receive dedicated attention and care.
We are all volunteers who live and work in your local community!
We have a motto that we live by: It Takes a Village! And that village always needs new members, so please consider donating to, adopting from, or simply sharing our cause.
