Meet the Pet
A Bond That Can’t Be Broken
We’re looking for a very special home for a very special little duo.
Frankie (2-year-old Yorkie) and Darrow (4-year-old terrier mix) are being rehomed after their owner became very ill very suddenly. This wasn’t an easy decision, and these two have already been through a lot together — which is exactly why we’re hoping they can stay together.
Frankie and Darrow are often found spooned up together. Frankie has been Darrow’s little emotional support buddy ever since Darrow came from a very sad and scary investigation a couple of years ago. Frankie gives him confidence, comfort, and a sense of safety — and it truly shows.
⨠About Frankie:
Frankie is cute as a button and FULL of personality. He loves to play, loves attention, and would happily be pet and cuddled 24/7. He’s spunky, affectionate, and honestly would be an easy solo adoption… but his heart belongs to Darrow.
⨠About Darrow:
Darrow is more reserved and takes time to warm up. He’s independent and prefers to come to you when he is ready for affection. Once he trusts you, he’s loyal and loving — but he is very wary of strangers and does best when his boundaries are respected. Because of his past and his protectiveness, he’s not a fan of lots of new people and can nip if pushed before he’s comfortable.
Ideal Home:
These two would thrive in a calm, adult-only home — honestly, a single woman or a quiet household with minimal visitors would be perfect.
• No cats
• Low-traffic, low-chaos environment
They’ve lived with a cat before, but in their current situation they’re not doing well with other animals, and we don’t want to risk placing them somewhere that won’t work long-term.
If you think you might be that calm, patient, big-hearted human who understands that love sometimes comes with a little work… Frankie and Darrow are waiting.
