My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucky!

Lucky is a sweet, cuddly boy who truly wants to please. He gets along well with other dogs and cats and is happiest when he’s close to his people. He may be a little shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, his loving personality shines right through.

Lucky is currently working on potty training and does great about going outside to potty when he’s out. He loves squeaky toys and chew bones, but his favorite thing of all is simply being by your side.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will grow more confident with love and patience, Lucky could be the perfect fit for your home.

Lucky's adoption fee is $275 and includes age appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, heartworm medication, microchip and spay/neuter surgery.

More about this rescue

Lucky 13 Rescue is a federal 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue and aid of homeless and neglected dogs in the Kansas City metro and surrounding rural areas. We do not limit our efforts to a specific breed, but rather strive to assist any dog that is facing neglect, homelessness, abuse or death. Our ultimate goal is to rehabilitate each canine in our care through placement in loving fosters homes until they can be carefully matched with adoptive families.
