My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is a 2 year old mixed dog (~65 lbs) who loves cuddling with people and playing with other dogs. She unfortunately does not do well in the city, and I am looking to find her a home where she can run and play! She loves hikes and swimming, but is less inclined to go on a walk, where she has low confidence around cars and roads.

She came to me from a rescue in Texas at 6 months old. During that time she never got to experience outside life and had very limited exposure to people. It was clear when I got her that she was not destined for city life, but needed a lot of work to build trust with people. Flash forward and she is the most loving girl! She’s skeptical of strangers initially, but will soon be cuddling in their lap once she realizes they are friends.

Behaviorally she is so so sweet. She’s a couch potato, but also loves playing with other dogs. She is also great with cats and kids. She has very good household manners, and is crate trained.
