My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Riley is a 13-year-old purebred Shih Tzu (born June 11, 2013) who has been a deeply loved part of our family. One of our favorite memories is his joyful zoomies when we first brought him home He loved running happily around the house.

He is house-trained and does well with our resident dog. Riley enjoys quiet companionship, cozy places to rest, and being near his people.

As Riley has aged, he has developed vision loss, anxiety, and occasional incontinence, and he has become uncomfortable around young children. Because of this, he would do best in a calm, adult-only home with someone experienced with senior dogs who can offer patience and gentle care.

This decision comes from love and a desire to give Riley the peaceful, dignified home he deserves in his golden years. Adoption fee is flexible for the right home. Riley is a gentle soul who loves quiet companionship and cozy naps, and still has so much love to give to the right person.
