Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Monroe, a black-and-white kitten with a bold personality and an irresistible goofy charm. This sweet girl is playful, curious, and full of confidence, always ready to turn everyday moments into fun. She loves wand toys and will happily pounce, leap, and show off her kitten skills, then settle down for some well-earned rest in her cozy bed.
Monroe is a wonderful mix of active and chill—she enjoys playtime just as much as quiet cuddles. Unlike many kittens, she loves being picked up and carried around, soaking up attention with ease. She’s fully litter trained and has excellent manners for such a young lady.
She gets along great with other cats and would prefer a home with another young, playful feline companion to share games and companionship. While she hasn’t met dogs in rescue, she’d likely do fine with proper introductions. She’s also fantastic with kids of all ages.
You can spot Monroe by the small black dot on her nose and the extra white on her front legs. If you’re looking for a confident, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining kitten, Monroe could be the perfect match. 🐾
Monroe is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
